The Briton 2130B Door Closer has a durable cast iron body with a hardened steel rack and mechanism with needle roller bearings for smooth operation. It features silicon chrome alloy steel springs and hydraulic fluid with built-in temperature compression for ensured reliability all year round. The closer has backcheck, offering resistance when the door is opened using excessive force – this prevents damage to the door and is ideal for high traffic applications. It is simple to install and features concealed adjustment screws to prevent unauthorised tampering. The closer is CE marked to EN1154, AD0017, AD0031, is EN1634 fire tested to 2 hours and comes complete with a 10 year guarantee.
